Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics offers a variety of health care services at our Friendship and Westfield Family Clinic locations. Our providers include physicians, nurse practitioners and a physician assistant. All are qualified to provide preventive care and to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions, illnesses and injuries. If needed, they will refer patients to a specialist for further care.
Our nurse practitioners and physician assistant are an important part of our medical team. Nurse practitioners are registered nurses who have completed a master's degree or beyond. A physician assistant has a master's degree in physician assistant studies. Nurse practitioners and physician assistants can serve as the primary care provider for patients of all ages. They provide a wide range of services including physicals, ordering tests and treatments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications and more. They also make prevention, wellness and patient education a priority.
