Moundview's Emergency Department and Urgent Care share the same entrance and location. Our primary responsibility is to treat emergency conditions such as trauma and chest pain. Therefore, there may be times when urgent care patients will wait to be seen until ER patients are stabilized.
Emergency Care is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
Urgent Care is available weekdays, 5-9 pm and weekends 9 am - 2 pm. Expanded hours are available on holiday weekdays when our clinics are closed.
If you receive a prescription during your visit, you can use InstyMeds, a 24/7 automated prescription medication dispenser. Similar to a vending machine, it allows patients to receive medications after hours when local pharmacies are closed. Prescriptions are sent directly to the machine which calculates co-pays and deductibles. Payments are made by credit or debit card. Cash may be given to staff for a pre-paid debit card to use in the machine.
*It is recommended to dial 911 when emergency care is needed
