“MyView at Moundview” is your personal view into the electronic medical record that your hospital, doctors and nurses use to manage and document your care.  It allows you to communicate with your physicians and nurses, schedule appointments and view your medical record and lab results in a secure, efficient and easy to use manner. A link to “MyView” is found on the right side of your screen and on the home page.  You may use this link to activate your account (see “How Do I Sign Up) and to log in once your account has been created.  Please refer to the frequently asked questions below for more information.


How do I sign up and/or access my account?
You must be invited by your doctor’s office or hospital to create a MyView account.  You will be given a user name and password.  An invitation will be sent to your e-mail address with a link to create a secure account.  Once your account is set up, you can access it anywhere you have connection to the internet from the link on Moundview’s website.

What are the benefits of using MyView?

  • Access your health record online, including test results, vital signs and immunizations
  • Review your current medications
  • View upcoming appointments and/or request, change or cancel an appointment
  • Safely and securely send messages to and receive messages from your care providers
  • Review your past visit summaries, procedures and health history
  • Download discharge instructions and patient education regarding your visit


How do I check my messages?
After you log into MyView at Moundview, you will see your homepage.  Select “Messaging” from the navigation panel on the top and then click on the “Inbox”.  This will take you to your received messages. To view the content of a message, click on that message.

How will I know when I have a new message?
When a new message arrives in your inbox, an e-mail alert message will be sent to the e-mail address that was entered for your account during registration.

How do I send a message to a provider?
You can send a message to a provider by clicking on the “Send a Message” navigation tab.  This will expand that navigation panel to reveal message options. Next enter your provider’s name in the “To” search box and then select the appropriate provider from the dropdown list that appears. Type your message. Click “Send”.


How do I view my scheduled appointments?
In the “Appointments” menu, click on the “View Upcoming Appointments”.  You will see details for each of your scheduled appointments. Actions for each appointment include “Reschedule, Cancel and Instructions.”  You can verify information prior to your visits and add the information to your personal electronic calendar system.

How do I request a new appointment?

  1. Click on the “Request a New Appointment” link under the “Appointments” section of the left  navigation.
  2. Select a provider in the “To” field.
  3. Enter a preferred provider.
  4. Enter your choice of an appointment date and time.
  5. Enter a reason for your visit and any comment regarding your request that would be helpful to the staff scheduling the appointment.
  6. Review the details of your request, click “Request Appointment”.
  7. You will receive confirmation of your appointment via your secure message inbox.


What is included in the medical record?
The medical record includes a view of selected information from your electronic medical record at Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics.  You have access to your clinical record summary and test results for those performed in Moundview’s laboratory.  You can request to change your personal contact information, view patient education information and download a copy of your medical record for use with other health care providers.

Is My Health Information Secure?
Yes.  MyView at Moundview is HIPAA compliant and provides you with the ability to securely view, store and share your health information. Cerner is the company we use to securely manage your electronic medical record information.  You will see their name referenced on the website.  


What is Cerner Health?
Cerner Health is a Personal Health Record (PHR) that provides you with a secure way to collect, manage and share your health related information.  Cerner Health allows you to share your health information with family members, doctors, other members of your care team, as well as a growing number of health, wellness and condition management programs.  It’s your information.  You control who has access and can modify that access at any time.

What Information is Exchanged Between Cerner Health and MyView at Moundview?
The only information exchanged between MyView at Moundview and Cerner Health is your name, gender and date of birth in order to confirm your identity.
